A little background… Lucy was calling her diver guy “human” last night. Like:
- “Human swimming under water.”
- “Human drying off”
- “Human blowing bubbles.”
- And, “Oh no! Human’s legs fell off.” (Yes. it’s an old toy and his legs did fall off last night!)
So I asked her if she was human… she paused a second and said: “No, not human, daddy. Human.” And held up the diver to show me. Too funny!
This morning she was very concerned about her diver (this time referring to him as “swimmer”), in fact it was the first thing she asked me about when I went in to get her up. She was very concerned about his legs.
I love this age!
